About Me
Well....let's see.....as a musician, I played keys in various bands in high school and college before joining the nucleus for what would become the Kudzu Kings late in 1994. That band went on to play for almost ten years and had some pretty significant successes. Once things died down, I found myself playing with a variety of folks (including short "touring" stints with Kenny Brown, Tishamingo, Burnside Exploration---some of my early years in MS were spent out at Junior's joint, sometimes sitting in w/ Junior and R.L.---, and more recently with the Last Waltz Ensemble), as well as the occasional sit-in (with the likes of Widespread Panic, Jojo Hermann's Smiling Assassins, North Mississippi Allstars, Shannon McNally, Eric Lindell, Daybreakdown, WILX, and Cadillac Willy, among others). In the meantime, I also recorded with
various other artists, appearing on releases from T-Model Ford, Blue Mountain, Cary Hudson, George McConnell, Robert Belfour, Circuit Riders, Electric Mudd, Tate Moore, and Jim Mize. Today, I find most of my musical time split between two main projects, Rocket 88 and Pithecanfunkus Erectus, while still having the random gig here and there with the aforementioned folks.
