I'm a jazz head...totally and completely! Jazz of all kinds ~ straight ahead, contemporary, fusion, bossa nova, bop...and the list goes on! I am a lover of good music and good musicianship (is that a word?) I enjoy watching and listening to artists and musicians perfect their craft, hone their talents, creating an environment where the arts are expressed in their purest form. Its all about the music!My goal with Independent Artists United is to provide an environment where the artist/musicians can focus solely on their music, leaving the administrative tasks for someone else to be concerned with. The artists got into music NOT to have to call venues and line up gigs, but to what?! PLAY THEIR MUSIC! So, I want to provide a service where the artists/musicians can do just that!I'm new in the biz, but I'm quickly researching venues and making connections with the club owners to create the perfect environment for the music to come forth. Right now I'm focusing solely on jazz, however, I do have some contacts in other genres.
