I hope that while you're here you see something, read something, or hear something that causes you to think about some of the choices you make.In 37 years I have come to one conclusion. This life is not really about us, but about how God wants to use us to effect change in the earth. (Purpose)! What are you born to do? Are you doing it, or at least preparaing to do it? Are you ready to make your MARK on the world? What will be said about you when you're gone? Will you leave a legacy behind for generations to come? What passions wake you early, or won't let you sleep at night? I'm certain of few things, but I do know that God Loves You. No matter what you've done, or how bad things seem. Another thing I'm sure of is that God made you for a purpose. There is something inside of you that you may or may not have never shared with anyone, something that God has placed within you. SEARCH IT OUT AND DO IT! When I was fourteen I would tell my family that I was going to work with Fred Hammond one day. I would get your occasional chuckle or the "you gotta make sure you have a back up plan" speech. When I went to college I would tell my friends the same thing. "I am going to work with Fred and I am going to make music for God." Again, people would say "that sounds good," but you could see that they were thinking, "this guy is nuts!!!" Well I've had the distinct pleasure to work with Fred Hammond as an Engineer, Producer, Writer, Director, Production Manager, and Studio Manager for over 13 years. My latest role has been General Manager of F.Hammond Family Entertainment, and each role has proven to be extremely successful. I've worked on Gold and Platinum records and I've had the opportunity to record and meet a lot of people. Needless to say I don't get chuckles anymore. I said all of that to say, if there is something inside of you then work it out. Be dilligent and master your craft.God has blessed me with a wonderful wife who puts up with me traveling and doing the things that God has planned for OUR lives. He has given me two beautiful boys (Kevin & Justin my CATS). We are all anticipating what God has in store for us next.The bottom line is this. People should see your life and not want to be you, but want to know how you've accomplished what you've done. It's one of the greatest opportunites to witness that you will ever have. Like a beautiful vessel on display, people see the finished product but never see the fire and the remolding that you went through to take out all of the impurities. Tell them about it, and give God all the glory.I've been blessed to have great family and friends in my life, and I'm smart enough to keep them very close. Well that's enough. Do me a favor!
