NeverFear desires to write music that will reveal something personal that may help or encourage someone else who's facing a similar situation.
They have been called both a christian rock band and a contemporary worship band because they write both rock and worship music. Each talented and unique member has inscribed their own mark onto the music to create a masterpiece unto itself. From rock with a latin flare in "Near You" to the upbeat funk of "Faith Hope & Trust", to intimate tunes like "Falling" NeverFear's style and influences run the gamut, but one thing remains constant. Each songs message reveals a vulnerability and honesty that most music these days simply lacks. If you listen, you will discover your own heart in their music.
NeverFear's passion is to help the lost and searching find their way to God and to encourage those who have already found him. They understand that, even in their imperfection, God loves unconditionally. They have realized that God wants people to come to Him just as they are, not needing to make themselves perfect before coming. NeverFear desires to be living examples of that, no pretenses, no falsity.....they want to come just as they are. As they come to Him in their honesty they trust that God will grow them, heal them, change them and use them for greatness.
NeverFear's name comes from Isaiah 41:10....
"Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."
When asked to explain they, "What this means to us is that no matter what we may face, God is with us. He's on our side. We don't need to fear what comes our way because God is fighting with us and will give us the strength and help we need to overcome the giants in our lives."
When you first listen to their music you will find yourself tapping your feet to the beat or singing along with the catchy melodies. Upon listening again you will begin to recognize your own life issues and your own heart in their music.
