Hailing from Southern Pines, North Carolina, Kym started out singing in church at the tender age of 7, and even then friends & family have said that she has "a Ministry".... "The church is my musical & spiritual foundation", says Kym. "Where I grew up, at my church, people sang the songs with feeling, deep from within. I learned to do it that way and of course, with the Soul,etc; that's how I bring it...even now with the songs I write, If I can't feel it from the Lyrics or from just listening to the music by itself, I will not put it out there...................... In time, word got around the area & Kym became in-demand as a vocalist, doing lead duties for r & b bands and as a featured singer in choirs, and commercials on local radio spots. She started writing & began recording her own material during a brief stint in the military and continued performing live.... ...After relocating to Atlanta she met Don Manor, a talented up coming producer/guitar virtuoso from Cincinnati.
