The Nicky Thomas Official Website -
Native Kingstonian Cecil 'Nicky' Thomas first cut his musical teeth in 1969 with a series of moderately successful sides for local producer, Derrick Harriott. A move to Joe Gibbs soon after almost immediately paid dividends, with his hit, 'Love Of The Common People' peaking at number 9 in the UK charts in the summer of the following year. The record's success led to the singer relocating to the UK the following year and he remained a popular figure on the London Reggae scene up until his untimely death in the Seventies..
