About Me

Messiah-El Bey a.k.a. Warlock Asylum is widely known as the legendary underground producer and spoken word artist. He was born and raised in Hempstead, Long Island. He is known for his unorthodox, lyrical delivery and psychedelic-soul searching tracks.His musical career began in his teenage years admits the rising Hip-Hop Movement. However, his music has best been described as Pink Floyd meets the RZA. In 2000 Messiah-El Bey, also known as Messiah Sun released the underground classic Ghetto Wars part 1: The Glass Onion. This is still acclaimed to be one of the best cds in music history. It featured Caridad De La Luz a.k.a. La Bruja, Nathan P. and many others. After the release of this cd Messiah-EL worked with numerous artists in the mainstream industry and on the underground.Despite various unforeseen occurrences Messiah-El was able to produce yet another classic, Naked Bones. This cd received more praise than his previous work. This masterpiece was due to a collaboration with yet another underground legend, Mister Chu. The two produced a mind-bending album that took the world back to a time when quality and music did mix. The combo became known as El Fuma, and their cd can still be purchased on cdbaby.com/elfuma The cd features additional production by Steve Berson.Although his works are listed among the legends, Messiah-el began working on his solo effort something to eclipse his previous works and accomplish what many artist have failed to due to date-give music itâ€™s soul back!
