In today's chaotic environment 2007 "EMERGENSI" is the album to discover!

22 songs in which the Urban Amazon makes us feel intense moments of the
"20th District", a hot district of Paris where it can be sometimes difficult
to grow up as a teenager.

But our urban flower knows the "game" and makes us travel through
without any beef.

Whether you want it or not, whether you know what it is like to grow up in
the projects, hustling is often the rule. A tribute is paid to it on the
song «Husler" (produced by K-Mel ex Alliance Ethnik).

GEN-SI slides on the beats, still an important part of Hip-Hop music, and
she is evengoing further by speaking about those who create them on
"Beatmaker"(produced by DJ Battle of b&k).

GEN-SI has the acid rhyme! To hear this refrain "Je suis une femme...et je
gagne..." ("I'm a woman…and I win" title composed by Dr. Swing) where its
instincts of Beninese warrior woman come from the ground of Amazons,
are omnipresent. Being a girl is far from being a handicap and to listen to
GEN-SI proves it.

You also feel this force in "Samurai" a very original song where GEN-SI
puts herself into the body of a samuraï's woman ,which is illustrated on
the album back cover.

Sweetness and force are mixed together into rap song and vocal
performance, melodies and punchlines, club bangers and street anthems,
there is no time to get bored on this album, for proof DJ Sek (TIME BOMB,
OXMO P, XMEN...) has produced a song named "dance des guerriers"
("warrirors' dance") where GEN-SI delivers with skill and technique a rap
which flies to the beat like a warrior B-boy launched on the dance floor
(1saute... 2... Dance des guerriers).

If the rap is quite present on "EMERGENSI" our young female rapper
enchants us with songs and melodies always accompanied straight and
direct lyrics, like on "tu veux communiquer , oublie t'es pas op pour moi",
another song in which she makes us understand that femininity doesn't
mean weakness.

GEN-SI doesn't care for blingbling or beautiful looks without soul « les gars
qui ont de la tchatche….» ("smooth talkers") relationship doesn't come
without rules and she knows how to make herself understood. And if the
relationship is very demanding the song «No tears" remind us that love is
stronger than all.

Sisi, this warrior in a woman's body knows how to prove her point but she
can also put us in a more intimate atmosphere with a song like "Sauve moi"
and "Je veux du respect" without forgetting the wonderful song" Je me
faufile slow» in which GEN-SI shares the feeling of urban nights during 3'55
(another hit!) But nothing is better than to discover the "secret Garden"
of this urban flower by listening to her first album "EMERGENSI".
