Cool Myspace GeneratorsKareem McClarty a.k.a Remo Kareem was born and raised in Norfolk,VA. Now residing in Va. Beach, Va. He's prepared to take the music business by storm. As an artist Remo has released numerous successful projects dating back to 1995 selling thousands of thousands of albums with virtually no airplay. Just hard work or what he calls hand to hand combat. That's getting out in the streets and making it happen. Rapping since the 4th grade he's a seasoned vet. He's a true VA independent record label pioneer. Remo has worked alongside music industry veteran hit makers Bink also of Norfolk and Levi Little from the original Blackstreet. He's also worked closely with hot local producers Daniel Speller and Hannibal as well as VA/Maryland producer J-Fats of Flab Lab/Yaggfu Front who also had a major deal on Mercury records in the early 90's. Remo say's. " I've only become wiser and better with time". In 2004 he incorporated his own label and named it Unity Recordings firmly believing it would take Unity to accomplish the huge feats he's striving to accomplish in the music industry. 3 years later he opened up a studio to permanently house Unity Recordings and better work with a few other hot Unity artists. Remo is known for having one of the greatest work ethics you can find in a serious artist/businessman. He and his team consisting of several producers, artists, and his queen Tonya, who is the companies COO do an exemplary job running this small label with huge, huge potential. Remo say's "I have been extremely serious about this music since my boy Link first offered to put me in the studio in 1994" giving me my first start". "I was born to do music and to be a leader".
