If you have reached this page, you must have some interest in the marijuana and/or industrial hemp movement. That is why we are here. With your help and the help of others involved in the movement to free the greatest herb on Earth we are working to create a comprehensive directory that will allow greater networking and unity among the different facets of the movement.
This space is only a preliminary effort and are working on getting the directory completed...Now that we are up and running, the website we plan on creating will include a calendar of hemp related festivals, protests, and other events as well as links to the sites promoting these festivals. Please view our progress on the site -its D.A.N.K We will attend as many of these events as time and travel expenses allow. We will also be creating link pages on the site that will take you to various organizations in your area that provide information and resources related to 1)Medical Marijuana, 2)Industrial Hemp and Hemp Products, 3)Drug War Information, 4)Festivals and Hemp related shows, and 5)Links to Counter Culture Celebrity web sites.
We are strong supporters of Students for a Sensible Drug Policy (SSDP) and are interested in making contacts at various Universities around the US who either have chapters or would like help starting chapters. We are actively working on an employment and scholorship program for activist students. This program would both provide a means of employment for students as well as let the students earn many thousands of dollars in scholorships.
How do we do this? We are looking for university and college students who are involved in SSDP and would be interested in running a booth on campus and/or at local festivals selling hemp products. Students involved will recieve a percentage of retail sales and every $5000 worth of retail sales will result in $1000 in scholorships for your school. Recipients of these scholorships will be nominated by the participating students and must be a part of the student body where the SSDP chapter is located. The scholorships will be in $250 increments and will be awarded one to each of four catagories. We are actively working with several companies who manufacure or distibute Hemp products (such as clothing, soap, make-up, etc)who have expressed interest in donating products and information packets for students to sell at these booths.
