My Interests

Gosh, lots of things! I enjoy writing (of course,) reading and embroidery. I also love to camp, fish and hunt (deer, elk, and upland game birds) and collect fossils and rock specimens.

I'd like to meet:

Our readers. I always enjoy meeting people who like our worlds! I like to meet other members of the organizations where I belong. Other than conferences, I don't get much of a chance to meet people.

Music:

Hard rock only, please! AC/DC, Metallica, Alice in Chains, etc., etc. While I'll occasionally put on an easy listening station for the dogs to listen to, my personal preference is loud and driving.

Movies:

Comedy or action. I like to laugh or see things blow up. Often I laugh WHEN I see things blow up. Heh...

Television:

We don't get network TV on our satellite uplink (no cable in the hills) so I watch SciFi channel, FX, Spike, Fox News, and Nickelodean (I ADORE Fairly Oddparents and Spongebob! Go, Squidward! [grin]) The Dresden Files on SciFi channel has become a favorite, and am LOVING the new Doctor Who on BBCAmerica.

Books:

Thriller/suspense, mystery, horror, paranormal, SF, fantasy and romance novels. All time favorite authors are: Laurell K. Hamilton, Clive Cussler, H.P. Lovecraft, Robert Howard, Jim Butcher, Charlaine Harris, PN Elrod, Susan Grant, Susan Kearney, Linnea Sinclair, Rowena Cherry, Robert Ludlum, Sue Grafton, and Tony Hillerman.

Heroes:

People who do for others without expectation of reward or recognition. The ones who act selflessly in the face of hardship are worthy of respect from everyone.
