I create greeting cards for my family and friends. I also edit and publish our Family Calendar that was created by my late Aunt, big shoes to fill and I hope I can continue to honor the legacy of the patriarchs of the Ruiz family. This calendar spans five generations, starting from my Grandparents through to their great-great grandchildren. Our 2009 calendar is under way one month at time, must wait for the future weddings and births, to finish it.
I also decorate cakes. As you can see from the wedding cake on my photo album. It was my biggest project yet, in which I had lots of help, especially the carrying and lifting it into position. It just happened to be taller than me! And, it also seems that my sons are taller than me so I shamelessly volunteered their help. lol Of course, they were honored to do so, they love me!

many. I have had the privilege of meeting two so far and having them sign my books. Back in April I met Jim Butcher and on August 15th I met Sherrilyn Kenyon.I would also love to meet Richard Dean Anderson and the rest of the cast of Stargate SG-1.

I love the Golden Oldies. My taste in music has varied from my teenage years. My sons and nephews will have me listen to some of their favorite songs and I would fall in love with it so much so that I would play the heck out of it. Early November, Bad Religion, Nickleback, Metallica, Boys Like Girls, Secondhand Serenade, Pat Benetar, The Civilian Project, Enya, Hoobastank, Bethany Joy Lenz, Lifehouse, Midnight Hour, Sarah McLachlan, and many more.
Movies:
Resident Evil 1 & 2, Underworld, Blood and Chocolate, X-Men, Spiderman, The Princess Diaries, Ella Enchanted, Mulan, Aladin, Shrek. Lord of the Rings Trilogy, Star Wars and the list goes on and on. Being the proud mother of 2 boys you would think I would despise their tastes in movies and music, but I have to say they have rubbed off on me. With their viewing of animes, I sat there with them and absolutely fell in love with the animes. I have to include the Final Fantasy movie along with Inuyasha, Naruto and Samurai X.
I also have to include Bollywood films. My niece introduced them to me and I fell in love with them.

Television:
My favorite television show was Stargate SG-1, but I like watching Stargate Atlantis, Smallville, Supernatural, Bones, Ghost Whisperer, Numbers, Painkiller Jane, Blood Ties and Moonlight. Hopefully very soon True Blood based on Sookie Stackhouse by Charlaine Harris.
Since I have included anime movies with my movies, then I must include all the animes I watch on TV. On top of the list is Naruto, because I'm simply in love with Kakashi.

Books:
I love reading Paranormal Romance, Sci-Fi, Fantasy and Romance. Andre Norton's Beastmaster started me down the road to endless reading. Reading Susan Sizemore's Laws of the Blood made me fall in love with the paranormal novels. I don't want to run out of books to read so I pre-order books from all of my favorite authors and can hardly wait for them to come in.Predatory Game Teaser
