The choir
Welcome to the Vocal Ensamble of Risbergska High School. They are a mixed choir in the ages between 16 to 20. The choir is conducted by Björn Johansson ho started it 11 years ago, and through time many talented vocalists and musicians have come and gone. They sing in many languages both classical and contemporary pieces, and almost every song they preform A 'Capella.
Recordings
During the year 2007 the choir released two CDs. One is a 10 years-jubilee Christmas album recorded live at the Nicholai Church in Örebro, Sweden. A very special concert where members of Vokalensemblen from these last 10 years came together to make an vocal ensemble with over 100 singers.
The other CD is a studio album where the choir recorded their favorite songs from their concerts. It is a CD filled with energy, depth and beautiful harmonies from this young youth choir.
