About Me

Hello boys and girls! I've decided that after 23 years in hiding, it is time to say hello to the world again... and what could possibly be a better, more reliable place to reappear then on MySpace? I don't know either!

My family is very important to me, and I feel like a lot of people forget that. A lot of what I've tried to do onstage has just been extensions of what started out at home, just goofing around with my family:

My Interests

Transcendental Meditation, wrestling, vegetarianism, anything chocolate, puppetry, circus sideshows, African percussion, and anything else that can count as entertainment.

I'd like to meet:

Everyone in this friendly, friendly world! I especially would like to meet nice people, fellow pranksters, dreamers, lip-synchers, busboys, and above ALL, women who can wrestle! I'd like to hear from any of the people who took the time to come to my concerts, watch me on television, or go see my movies! I'm sorry that the movies I did weren't better, and that I made so few of them! And I also have to say that I am EXTRA sorry if you took the time to watch Heartbeeps. I wish I could refund that portion of your life back to you. Maybe I will, once I figure out how!

Thank-you all for stopping by to visit me!

If you're still looking for some deep thoughts on my profile, watch this:

Music:

ELVIS. Fabian Forte. Freddy Boom Boom Cannon. Slim Whitman. Olatunji, my old tutor! I also like old 45s of traditional songs you don't really hear anymore. Billy Williams. I enjoy Punk a bit too, but I think it's the experience of a Punk show I like more than the music.
This is a clip of me performing Mighty Mouse on the very first episode of Saturday Night Live, back on October 11th of 1975! Sorry about the last 17 seconds, I don't know why it is there!

I had so much fun the first time, I came back on the show a few weeks later on October 25th to perform "Pop Goes the Weasel"

Here I am doing Old MacDonald with some friends of mine on the February 28, 1976 episode of Saturday Night Live!

Movies:

Laurel and Hardy. Fellini's 8 1/2. The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. A Face in the Crowd. Anything starring the King. His films were always a good way to study him...
This is from my January 30th, 1982 appearance on Saturday Night Live... and unfortunately, it's one of my last. Thanks again to everyone who voted to keep me on the show!

Television:

I don't really enjoy sitcoms. Wrestling is always fun, when you can find it. I would be happy if there were more variety shows, instead of just the same old shtick of late nite hosts telling one-liners while obedient audience members applaud endlessly. Where is the surprise in that?

We need more shows where you can see something like this...
I've actually been on Television quite a few times, but not all of my appearances have gone so well, especially on David Letterman. I had a bit of trouble when I showed up on his morning show...
...and it didn't go any better when I was on his Late Night show with wrestler Jerry Lawler (all my friends who are sensitive to harsh language might want to to skip over this part, I'm sorry, okay, I was mad):

Books:

I've read Fitzgerald's The Great Gatsby more times than I can count. Jack Kerouac's On The Road. Hubert Selby Jr.'s Last Exit to Brooklyn. I also enjoy some Dostoyevsky:

Heroes:

Howdy Doody, Elvis Presley, Mighty Mouse, and Las Vegas legend Tony Clifton.
