Cross mc was born as Lamine Diarra on january 1st 1978, in a town called Mbour Senegal (West africa). Music has always been a part of his life since he was born, he grew up with music within his family. While he was going to school, african music was a big interest of his, especially drumming and dancing from Senegambia, Mali, Guinee and Burkina Fasso. From the drumming and dancing, it took him to the next level, which was Hip Hop music. And created a group with some friends, the group was called "Black R&P" (Rigth and Peace). The group was together for about 7 years. He got the interest in Reggae music while he was in the Hip Hop group. His love for Reggae music grew and grew, and took him completely away from Hip Hop music. From that time on he decided to take part of Reggae music, more like a mc. He was working as an mc in a Reggae club called Malibu Night in Senegal. Cross moved to Denmark for family reasons, and still into Reggae music, working with different sounds systems, like Zulu Souljah, Universal Sounds and reggaehaguen some time.
