Psychomental started DJing during the year 1996, playing and promoting Trance and (Goa) Psychedelic Trance music at underground parties. A year after, he already started producing atmospheric & emotional sounds that have certain hypnotic feel. His style of music creates trance-like states in listener who understand the language of sound. At the time his only equipment was Amiga 500 computer and with that he made four demo albums and lots of tracks that were played in various underground radio shows. Then a friend of his, Goran Mekic joined him in the studio, sometime in 2000. The next few years, their production advanced and developed. In 2003, another friend of theirs (already known as Psychotic Fields) joins in and they start the new project named "Colliding Worlds". Also in 2003, together with DJ Denny, Psychomental wants to further promote Trance in a radio show called "D-Trance". The show airs on Radio AS, the biggest urban radio station in Vojvodina region (Serbia) and also by online streaming at www.radioas.net every Monday, from Midnight till 5am (GMT +1), presenting everything Trance music and Trance culture have to offer. Psychomental also joined Sound Mute community & Moon-Sun record label.
