Radical Distortion

Radical Distortion (John Spanos & Nick Politaridis) are 2 guys from Greece who started composing music together in september of 2003. John was composing music under the project name Mihabra since the beginning of 2000. Nick was in a project called Asinar composing melodic trance. Since february of 2005 their tracks were cooperations of Mihabra & Asinar until Radical Distortion came up to the surfice. Their style is psychedelic trance totaly inspired from old school psychedelic Goa trance (Transwave, MFG, Astral Projection, Man With No Name, Chakra, UX, etc),and the sounds of their music are only from hardware analogue synthesizers!!! Now after releasing 2 albums ’’Purple energy’’ and ’’Regenesis’’ , Radical Distortion are working on their new album ’’Psychedelic Dreams’’ which is totaly Goa Trance style that will bring you back the golden times of 1995 & 1996!!..........................................Opus Iridium Reviews at Psynews.org and Isratrance................................. Radical Distortion - Dreamer Probably the best track on the album judging on content & mastering. A very crystal clear sounding piece and what kind of!! This track is the true definition of goa trance itself; fat bass riff, evil atmosphere, ecstatic sounds and organic scapes. Excellent build-ups and the tempo is rather on the slower side which makes it even better!!! This will be remembered longtime!! ............................................................ ............................................................ ......6. Radical Distortion - The Dreamer is an energetic jump back up to greatness. The song not only starts off strong, but the leading melody around 1:08 is great, as is the early interlude that fronts an even stronger and more infectious leading melody!!! Loaded with friendly sound fusions, complex melody/sound work, and enough ball control to front the starting 5 on fire, this is one of the best numbers on the album. The following part that the 5:00 mark involves into is excellent. Most Goa listeners love the combination of new great sounds, melodies and infectious evolution. Way to go Radical Distortion for sticking to what they do best... Goa-Trance. This is one of their best songs, bar none. Now they need is make an amazing album for Suntrip Records to release.
