THE PURPOSE BEHIND THE PAGE:
As a long time fan and collector of all genres of underground metal, I decided to create this page as more or less a reference for bands that create dark gothic/medieval/folk themed heavy metal and their legions of devoted fans. Keep in mind this is purely for the love of gothic/medieval metal, and there are no commercial intentions here, though in the future, I may look into the creation of a store that caters purely to heavy metal fans. Ill be switching up the songs and the bands in the top friends area sometimes, so perhaps people will be able to discover some new bands they might enjoy, which I think is the most important thing, exposing more of these great bands to the growing gothic metal fanbase. I will continue to play around with some other features/ideas that I may add here soon as well, depending on how things go. Cheers and enjoy!
