About Me

“I'm a rebel, Dottie. A loner.”

... just your average blue-collar workin' joe with a slightly above average intelligence level and a rabid lust for music.

Huh?

My story?

O.k., It was never for easy for me. I was born a poor black child. I remember the days sitting on the porch with my family singing and dancing, down in Mississippi....

If you really want to know something about me, just ask.

My Interests

I like cool stuff.

I'd like to meet:

Not this guy !!!

"A nymphomaniac coke connection who owns a Ferrari dealership" - G. Carlin

Someone who's cool.

Movies:

Above and beyond all other films in the history of cinematography, I rate Steve Martin and Carl Reiner's magnum opus "The Jerk" at the top of my list. Anything by The Coen bros. I'll watch. "Mitchell" with Joe Don Baker is a classic. I'm not totally low-brow, though, I can appreciate a good foreign or artsy fartsy movie. Christina Ricci is awesome in everything, even stuff she doesn't do. Her dance scene in the bowling alley in Buffalo '66 should've won her an award or something. I bought Gummo on DVD for myself this Christmas. Nothing captures the yuletide spirit quite like chair wrestling and cat murder. Other movies I own include : Amelie, Blue Velvet, Reservoir Dogs, Clerks, Night of the Living Dead, The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, Dog Day Afternoon, O Brother Where Art Thou, The Big Lebowski, The Man With Two Brains, Creepshow, Beast From Haunted Cave, The Brain That Wouldn't Die, Dementia 13, MST3K- "Manos" the Hands of Fate & Santa Claus Conquers the Martians, Secretary, strongbad_email.exe, Dogma and some porn. I taped Ken Burns' "Jazz" when it was on, if you've got like 32 hours to kill you should come over and watch it some night.

Television:

Generally I despise television, it definitely has it's good points though. If I had cable, I'd watch Mystery Science Theater 3000 religiously (seriously, if you know anyone with tapes, send 'em my way). I'd also catch all the re-runs of Monty Python and Kids In The Hall. I used to carry a picture of David Letterman in my wallet. Fred Rogers and Jim Henson, I thank you for shaping my views on life, may you both rest in peace. PBS rocks ! I have no idea why I'm compulsed to watch "The Simple Life" whenever I notice it's on but, I do. So there.

Books:

Hunter Thompson, Kerouac, Burroughs, The Essential Lenny Bruce, Pryor Convictions and Other Life Sentences - Richard Pryor, The Amazing Yo-Yo - Ross R. Olney, Harold and the Purple Crayon, The Wonderful Flight to the Mushroom Planet by Eleanor Cameron, The Mystery Science Theater 3000 Amazing Colossal Episode Guide (signed, of course)... mostly Stephen King and high-gloss magazines that show J-Lo and the Olson twins in frilly undies.

Heroes:

William Katt, Sid, Lana Miles
You scored as Pinhead. You are Pinhead. You come straight from hell. Your curiosity has caused you to make some mistakes in life. But you are now more powerful than you have ever been. You enjoy pain just as much as you enjoy pleasure. Unlike most killers, you like to make sure your victims suffer for all eternity.
