I'm interested to see if anyone can remember my interests from the first paragraph...or if anyone even reads this stuff. Come on, you know you looked at the pictures first... For even more irrelevant snazzy details, email me!
Those who've managed to read this far. Non-pretentious curious types who are over 29ish but feel like you're under 25ish (This doesn't mean I'm looking for 14 year olds! You must be this tall (30) to get on this ride!). It'd be best if you aren't growing a forest on your face and aren't a wake-n-baker or smoker at all, and can pay your own way. Yeah, I ask for a lot...spelling and grammatical abilities would be a super bonus indeed! .................AND FOR THE NIMRODS WHO DON'T ACTUALLY READ ALL OF THE PROFILE, AT LEAST READ THIS: I DON'T COLLECT FRIENDS/BANDS FOR MY FRIENDSLIST. IF YOU HAVEN'T WRITTEN TO ME, HOW CAN I BE YOUR FRIEND? IF YOUR PROFILE ISN'T FILLED IN, DON'T EXPECT A REPLY..............I was thinkin' this was common sense, but evidently not! If you're on my friends list, it's because I already know you, or I have plans to!
Everything under the sun, including in no order: English Beat, Aphex Twin, Nick Cave, Revolting Cocks, Specials, PWEI, Lovage, Killers, Johnny Cash, 70's groove, funk, rock and e-z (ELO, Doors, Beatles, etc.), Man or Astroman, Rev. Horton, The Kinks, Cake, The Police/Sting, Velvet Underground, Royal Crown Revue, Thrill Kill Cult, Fishbone, Tindersticks, Raspberries, Stan Getz/Gilberto, Roxy Music, Stuart Staples, Devotchka, Clash, Harry Connick Jr., Madness, Me First + The Gimme Gimmes, Fatboy Slim, DK, Lenny Kravitz, Old Skool everything (Beasties, New Order etc.), all my amigos locales playin' around town (I ain't botherin' with the name droppin' - you know who you are!), and other new and local stuff that I can't remember the names of - you're lucky if I remember your name. no joke. See? Everything minus current radio garbage, homie rap, speed metal, and new country. And boy bands and Britney types, well, if I have to explain....'nuff said!
The more quirky it is, the more I'm going to like it. Not into the dumber than tards comedy crap or overdone special effects that replace any plot. A few things that come to mind: Magnolia, Royal Tennenbaums, Eternal Sunshine, The Good, The Bad, & The Ugly (series), Cinema Paradisio, Spinal Tap, Amalie, Run Lola Run, Happiness, True Romance, Eraserhead, Pink Panther series, Shawshank Redemption, N by NW, Drugstore Cowboy, Cat People, Repo Man, Kill Bill and most of the PT Anderson, Coen & Kubrick works, Memento, Casino, Midnight Cowboy, Velvet Goldmine, Y Tu Mama Tambien, and on and on and on....Everything from film noir to spaghetti and classic westerns, 70's disaster films, mindf*ck movies of ANY kind. I rarely watch first-run films...the media and hype seem to ruin it for me and I'll see it when I'm damn well and ready,- without paying the $17 for a soda and gum in my seat! You'll sooner catch me snuggling in front of my big screen teevee with pizza, tallboys and pillows....the way it oughtta be!
THE OFFICE, MXC, MST3K, Father Ted, Young Ones, Twin Peaks, That 70's Show, Family Guy, and the whole craftily sickening family of TLC's stuff.
I'm a huge Chuck Palahniuk fan, would like similiar works. Currently reading David Sardonis. Lots of nonfictional stuff involving hobbies (aquariums, cooking, photography, bowling, etc.), historical and "about" books. Lovin' the vintage books as well.
Yo mama! (and mine...) and maybe even you, too...This profile was edited with Thomas' myspace editor V2.5
