Featured by “DJ Magazine” this year as one of their predicted global “Future Hero’s” and undoubtedly Africa’s biggest international DJ star. Dino has been a pioneer of Dance Music in Africa over the last 16 years. As a true ambassador for the continent he has recently played at Nelson Mandela’s 89th birthday party to a 35 000 people packed stadium and also Madiba’s Christmas party and plays Bi annually to raise funds for the “Nelson Mandela Children’s Fund” in London.
Dino forges ahead to create his own genre of Rhythmic African Fusion combined with the hottest current dance trends. He has a formidable talent in being able to read a crowd and adapt the music to the mood taking the crowd on a euphoric musical journey
International: In his 16 year career Dino has played for every major club in South Africa and at various international events supporting artists such as Carl Cox, Deep Dish, Sasha and Digweed, Paul Oakenfold, David Morales, Gloria Gaynor to name just a few. He has played on the BBC Radio 1 global millennium broadcast, twice on Pete Tongs Essential Mix and once on Danny Rampling’s love groove dance party show.
He toured Australia where he performed at the Opening ceremony of the Commonwealth games with his African Live show “House of the Holy Afro”. With this he show has also toured Switzerland, Reunion, Germany, Sweden, Belgium & Austria. The show was part of the Life Ball 2005 and performed alongside artists such as Deep Dish, Sasha ,John Digweed, Seal, Tiesto, Nic Fanciulli , James Zabiela, Gloria Geynor, Elton John and Liza Minnelli to name very few. They are about to start a 22 gig run of shows at the 2007 Edinburgh Festival in Scotland, it is a real honor as its the biggest and most respected cultural festival in the world.
Dino has held a 5 year residency at the Official 5FM J&B Met After-party. He has performed at top clubs in the UK, USA , Ibiza, Vienna, Amsterdam, Dubai , Berlin, Melbourne and Sydney. His productions have been featured on “Defected”, the biggest Dance music record label in the world alongside artists like Bob Sinclair, Kaskade, Martin Solveig, Junior Jack and Kings of Tomorrow.
Breaking news!!!!!!!!! Dino’s latest release is a collaboration with German dance music titans Milk&Sugar called “Gumba Fire” is rockin the charts all over the planet and is available on Traxsource, Beatport ,Juno ,DJdowwnload.com and all good record shops.
Dino has produced music with fellow South African Musicians Loyiso, Xander, Mapumba, KB and Prime Circle.
Dino was the appointed DJ to tour to London as a beneficiary of the Global Breakthrough, Music Trust created by Jamie Joseph. Dino will be releasing a new Nightwatchmen CD with fellow artist Craig De Sousa and More Music in August his year. He is also currently in production with some exciting tracks such as Afroteq and Elements.
Dino has just completed a tour with the Holy Afro team to Sweden where he performed at the MADE festival. In the second week of May he played at the Supper Club and NL Lounge in Amsterdam and in Vienna at Babenberger Passage.

The Nokia Face of Africa was broadcast to 48 countries with an audience of 40 Million viewers and was broadcasted on NBC American Network with a viewer ship of 8 Million per broadcast. One of the many hats Dino wears is as the official Music designer and producer for Internationally acclaimed Choreographer Jan Malan. He has produced, compiled and mixed music for Elle Magazine, Life, Hip Hop, Phenomena, Funeka and many more top designers for Durban, Cape Town and South African Fashion week.
He played an Epic 7-hour set for the MTN Durban Fashion Week official after-party hosted at Sun Coast Casino. Dino was once again booked by MTN this year to host the hottest Durban Fashion Week Afterparty at Society. Once again his set was epic and kept the Durban revealers rocking all night.
He produced all music for Mozambique Fashion week held from the 15th till the 17th of December 2006.
Dino produced the Positive Rocks Anthem used on the worldwide broadcast that was recently hosted at the Sun City Superbowl to raise funds and awareness about AIDS.
Dino produced the music for the BBC Africa Radio Awards in Kenya and received the following comments from the Cross-media designer for BBC World Service Leo Scutt-Richter :-
“Just wanted to drop you a line to say that I thought the music for the Africa Radio awards was really great! I produced the animated intro graphics for the event and the intros and outros for the BBC World and MTV packages to your sound track which was really good to work with and inspirational! I loved the beat, the bass and the driving vocals.”
Upcoming International and National Tours
Dino will be traveling to the Edinburgh Festival to perform with the House of the Holy Afro from the 10th August 2007 till the 1st of September.
Dino will then be travelling once again to Vienna, Amsterdam, Germany and London to play at a selection of venues until the 16th September.
Dino will be travelling to Melbourne and Sydney in the New Year with his House of the Holy Afro Tour and is currently in negotiations with various clubs and venues in both areas for additional Solo shows.
