Savvy found her love for the Hard Dance scene in 1999. She was fascinated with the music and spent hours listening and watching some of her friends spinning the decks. Savvy started to collect records in 2001 and while living abroad (UK) she purchased her first pair of turntables which was the beginning of her DJ career.
After 3 years Savvy returned to SA where she started to play at the Gallery (now club Liquid). She fast became a well known name & she is currently a resident with UNI.
Dj’s who inspired her is Ben Keen, Andy Farley, Lisa Lashes, Anne Savvage & local (now international dj) ShaunM.
She has played for many clubs in Cape Town including The Gallery, Studio47, Hectic on Hope, Sliver Upstairs (Funkytown), Liquid, Tonic (96degrees), Que Pasa & Jetlag for Production companies such as Deep Thought, Soundscape, UNI & NRG.
She has also played at various events, such as Sussed, Hardy Boys, Wobble, Lee Haslam, Cosmic Gate, Back2Back Streetfestival, Back2Back New Years Eve, FREE, Dusk till Dawn, Burning Up, Payback, Fusion, Halloween/Porn, and the 2006 Up & Coming DJ of the Year Competition to name a few.
Savvy plays some of the most hard, energetic and driving UK hard trance, also well known for her love of vocal tracks.
