I was born in the Bronx, New York City in 1972. I left the inner-city in the summer of 1993 and landed an IT position with Stihl Incorporated in Virginia Beach, Virginia, a billion dollar manufacturing organization based out of Waiblingen, Germany. I have been promoted six times in my thirteen year career, most recently to a supervisory position. I was named Silver Key Employee of the Year in 2002 and award that is given out once a year to the employee who best exemplifies leadership qualities both in the organization and in their respective community.
Between the years of 2001 and 2003, I was a frequent contributor to the op-ed section of the Virginian-Pilot and became a freelance writer for Port Folio Weekly where I covered the local music scene. In 2004 I was awarded the National Novel honors for my first fiction offering, an as yet titled literary piece, about four friends coming of age in the Bronx, New York, a book I hope to publish in 2008.
In May of 2005, I graduated Summa Cum Laude, with an Associates of Applied Science in Computer and Information Science with a Major in Information Technology and Network Security Management. I am currently on track to graduate the University of Phoenix .. with a Bachelors of Science in Management. In 2006, I graduated from the Dale Carnegie program where I received several awards for my public speaking abilities. I am also currently enrolled in the Bullet Proof Management program and on track to complete that program in mid-2007.
In addition to my professional career, my education and my burgeoning career as an author, I am currently being mentored by a 25 year member of the National Speakers Association in preparation for my career in motivational and public speaking.

I recently realized a life long dream of becoming a published author. I spent 3 years writing a book called Next Stop: Growing up Wild Style in The Bronx. We held an “Author’s Release Party†on December 16th, 2006 and opened to rave revues and overwhelming support from family, friends and the community. I am looking forward to the book being released to the public in February of 2007. I am also using the book as a platform to speak to kids about the pitfalls they face in the streets running with gangs and crews. If I can prevent one youth from going to jail or to the cemetery I will be honoring the memories of my family and friends who weren’t so lucky.
Below are pictures from the event:After all the hard work it felt good to see "Next Stop - Author's Release Party" up in lights! 3 years of hard work pays off...
