STAR BOUND!...and enjoying the ride.

About Me

Phil John is a native New Yorker and a gifted actor, writer, and a spoken-word artist. As an actor, he received professional training at New York City's Black Spectrum Theater and The Sullivan Street Players. Casted in his first professional stage play in 1992, entitled "Hear My Cries", Phil got a behind-the-scenes glimpse at how shows were actually put together. In 1995, he and a friend started a promotional team, which allowed him to work behind-the-scenes and assist on unsigned artist showcases for Roc-a-fella Records "City of Dreams" seminar and the 1998 Montreal Urban Music Showcase in Quebec, Canada. Phil John continues to spit poetry in venues around the northeast coast, while co-starring in independant films of up and coming filmmakers from Washington D.C. to New York City. Lastly, he proudly serves as an acting coach for young people who have hopes of one day becoming professional actors.Profile Edited by Html-Codes.com MySpace Editor
