FLICKS & CHICKS... FRIENDS & ENDS... those are my interests. Here's one on the flick side... my stockcar racing action/drama I'm producing/directing entitled SPEEDMETTLE, that I've also penned. It's a diverse story set of the backdrop of stockcar racing that will entertain audiences from all cultural backgrounds, encouraging people to face and overcome one of life's most paralyzing obstacles... fear. With a relevant story and a cast of very familiar names, this is going to be a film experience you don't wanna miss!!Just as a little tease, here are some STORYBOARDS by Anson Jew (Sky Captain World of Tomorrow - Anacondas - Mr. and Mrs. Smith (www.ansonart.tripod.com) that I designed. Of course they were drawn on white paper, but in keeping with the tone of this profile, I thought the reverse would be cooler.
Tell you what... I'll tell you who I DON'T care to meet. Filmmakers looking to put banners in my comment section. I don't try put my shit on yours so try to put that shit on mine. If Myspace is all you have to promote your film, you are already fucked. Go find a festival or something. I'm not trying to negative, just realistic. I'm here to meet people. I like people. Ballsy people. Sexy people. Nice people. Mean people. Classy people. Trashy people. Anyone who is willing to use what they got to make something of their life. I don't judge anyone. We'll I try not too. But some people are so stupid so they judge themselves and I just laugh at it. So, you wanna talk, you'll know if I wanna talk back. If I requested your friendship, then I much see something interesting about you. What? We can figure that out later. Enjoy your day. Enjoy you week. Enjoy your life.

Hitchcock/Truffaut by Francois Truffant. A must read for a director who is interested in actual accounts of Hitchcock's work. Discoveries as to the origins and processes of Hitchcock documented by Francois Truffaut can be essential to the process of any artist to allow his or her personal depth to influence their work. ----Directing Feature Films by Mark Travis. It's a pretty good book for directors trying to understand the relationship the director has with the writer and actors. Their services are available one on one. ----Respect for Acting and A Challenge For The Actor by Uta Hagan. Uta's approach to revealing what actors really should be made of is a well respected view and a reminder of what acting is really all about. From its origins in this country to how acting is viewed today. After reading these books, you will never look at acting the same way again.
