About Me
An original true School B-Boy who grew up on the streets of East New York, (Brooklyn) & the Bronx, (Soundview) but don't get it twisted my people, I'm Puerto Rican to the Heart, Ya meen! As an artist I made my bones on the streets of the City during the early 80's. Running in and out of all those now classical clubs during the Hip Hop 80's Era (Bonds, Gothams, Studio54, The Garage, The Funhouse, Roseland, Ones, Bentleys, The Roxy's, Dancenteria, The Cave, The Copa, Latin Quaters, The Underground, The Ritz, Fresh14, The Loft & B'WAY 96). I ran the streets hard, hitting the yards, hustling & surviving to the best of my ability. Writing my name & grafitti on the trains gave me my fame in NYC. The first grafitti crew I threw down with was The Bambu Crew, (TBC), thanks 2 non other then DEKSTER, then came a number of other crews like: The Public Animals, (TPA) thanks to non other then... you know it, PG3 (RIP), then came The Glenmore Crew and so on and so on. The Crews grew & grew as the years passed on, and by the time I stopped hitting the yards, I am down with: X-Men, The Vamp Squad (TVS), Roc On City (ROC), Nations Top Artist (NTA), The Crazy Five (TC5), The Killa Four (TK4), Bad Underground Squad (BUS), The Peoples Choice (TPC), Those Nasty Vandals (TNV), The Odd Partners (TOP), Seriously Invading Subways (SIS), Always Rocking Transit (ART), Ten Most Wanted (TMW), & The Brooklyn Action (TBA). Brothers I have gotten to bomb with, were: Bad Bid, Baby168, Crime79, SainTop, Rolly, G-Wiz, CR.Toney, PG3 (RIP), ADee (RIP), Benz, Tee, Base, Charm, Track2, Sake, Joe61, Bond, SRone, Ron1, Kilo, Paco, MR.One, Ree1, Jon156, Frosty Freeze (RIP), A-One (RIP), Second127, The Glenmore Crew, Mr. R, CholoRoc (RIP), KCone, FlinTop, Duro, Jayes, Plusone, Kist (RIP), Scan, Peo, Atom, Sago, IZ the Wiz, Min, Boe, Sach, Quick, Rich, Soe, Sniper and many more. Proudly, I must say, I never got my shit vamped in or out of the lay-ups...lol It was a true skool experience to see our culture grow as a whole. I miss the shit out of those years simply because my ass was wild as a fuck back then, and although I made my bones as a graf artist in NYC, it was breaking that first introduced me to the culture of B-boys in the late 70's. Crews I got to Rock with were: the All Star Rockers (aka: Grant Crew), Non-Stop Rockers, Dance With Scorpio & Touch Of Class... so in truth, I was a B-Boy way before I joined the ranks of NYC graffiti writers, and for those who know the history, this was true for many latin breakers. We we're all unified through music, breaking and art... Now the best thing about now is that my ass is still alive. In spite of all the Guns, Drugs, and Drama that came my way, I made it my brothers, I made it. I should have been murdered years ago, and for all those who knew me back then, well you are the only ones left to tell the stories... Lol Today my ass is on the Dee-Low, if ya know what I mean... Lol, but nevertheless its good to be alive and well. So for all you old skool Warriors, Big up to all your dreams my people. Lets school these young bucks so that they don't make the papers in a bad way. Life is just to valuable to just let it go to waste. Peace to all my peeps in Brooklyn, Money Making, Strong Island, The desert and the Boogie Down. R.I.P to all my brothers & sisters who died in the struggle before they could shine in life. I miss you motherf#$@ers and will always keep you in my heart. Peace to all the crews and gangbangers that made it through the hard times we all faced on the streets during the 80's & 90's. And to everyone else... God Bless!
