Welcome to my page! It is a living, breathing document of many people's lives, lives that have in someway touched mine. I do not need to tell you how they affected me, you can figure that out, all you need to do is just sit back, watch, and enjoy my life, I am. I am a 1st generation, Polish- Catholic Jewess, married to a Dominican lol Proud granddaughter of 2 brave and beautiful Holocaust survivors, and of a pilot who fought against the Nazi's. Popdukes was a rock and roll star in the 80's in a group called "The Sorrow's" (left handed guitarist), TRUE STORY, google it, and still is in my eyes. Momdukes is the only textile designer, with freehand skills hard to come by nowadays. I've been married 9 years and have 2 very spiffy kids, daughter, 9, son, 7 and a freebee with no labor my beautiful stepdaughter 13). :O) This page is in a sense a story of survival. For one, if my grandparents wouldn't have made it through the war, I wouldn't be here. Sometimes I think it is their strength and will to live that made me who I am. We are all faced with hard times and still come out ok, we can face months and years of tough times, we can face betrayal and still come out smiling. No matter what we may go though or how bad it was, the good times we held onto in our minds helped us get through it. I think that holding onto those good thoughts helps us survive. Here are many good times from my life that have always kept me smiling no matter what I have gone through. I hope that the time you spend viewing this page, triggers some wonderful time for you as well. For those people who took part in these times even if only for a few minutes, I send you the most sincere thank you, your essence will never be forgotten. Those of you who know me for some time remember the days when I would hang out without any money but I always had a camera. The day has come where I am happy and proud to bring you this beautiful memento of our cherished times together. We had a blast...the proof is in the pudding :O) Thank you for being a part of my life.It's been a long journey! I am glad to see that most of you from my past, recent and old, are still around and doing well. I have by default, become the Memories Queen, keeper of all times, good and bad. LOL If you have forgotten about something or someone, just ask...I probably have a piece of their clothing or a drop of their blood somewhere in my little blue suitcase, and if not that, then I almost definitely have of a memory about them... I now teach Science and Health at a Junior High in Queens. (It might even be one that you went to...) Love my students and staff. If there is anything you would like for me to pass onto my students, please share your thoughts. I never want to be one of those teachers whose class we would always be avoiding in the girls bathroom, the terrace, piggy park or 40 park :O)Wishing everyone nothing but the best, please feel free to always pass through my page as it is always changing. That was on and off between 1992-1994 when I went to live in California with my dad.This past friday, July 6th, made the 15 year anniversary of the day I left NY to live a new life. It wasn't an easy time for me. I left behind love, friends, and family. I now know it was a path that I was destined for in order for me to become who I am today. It just took a while to figure that out. Those of you that were with me in Cali knew my heart always belonged on the East coast but that does not mean that I do not hold a special place in my heart for all of you that I left behind in return. I put together this slide show of some of our good times together this weekend. For some reason I am missing a grip of pics, with Dozie, Tony, Kevin, Fool-(The Wall) LOL but I will find them and as soon as I do I will add them to the show.
