Ben Lecourt

I was born in 1981, the 4th of october.I grew up in the south of France where i started playing music when i was 8.First it was drums lessons with private teachers, later i went to a conservatory to learn the percussions with Georges Van Gucht, a cofounder of a very great orchestra:les Percussions de Strasbourg.At that point, with the influence of my environment, i discovered jazz music and the thing was done, i was under control...obsessed.My desire was to go to the USA, but i met many musicians and i started to play with them here in France.So i am happy to have played with Jerry Bergonzi, Franck Amsallem, Eric Lelann, François Chassagnite, Alain Jean-Marie, Olivier Temime, David Sauzay, Fabien Mary, Pierrick Pedron, Hugo Lippi, Boris Pokora, Guillaume Poncelet, Henri Florens, Xavier Richardeau, (...) in places like the Marciac Jazz festival, Marseille 5 continents jazz festival, Calvi jazz festival, la cité de la musique marseille,Pinarello, Orléans jazz festival, radio France(...) and jazz clubs: duc des lombards, franc-pinot, petit opportun, pele-mêle, le fou du roi(...) Now i live in Paris where i still have good times....
