About Me
I was born in the south of France and began the piano at five. I started learning jazz at the IMFP (Musical Institut for Professional Formation) in 1997. Then I went to learn in New York and Cuba. In 2000, I moved to Paris and studied Jazz with Manuel Rocheman, Bojan Zulfikarpasic, Serge Forté and Classical piano with Alicia Roque-Alsina. I auto-produced four CDs : "Be where you are" (distribution Codaex) with Yoann Loustalot, Sophie Alour, Chris Jennings and David Grebil, (sept. 2005) Jazz Magazine Award. We prepared this recording in the famous club La Fontaine in Paris. "...eveil" in 2003 (distribution Codaex) with Chris Jennings and David Eleouet, Jazz Magazine Award. We performed a lot in parisians clubs (Sunside, Duc des Lombards, Virgin Megastore - Champs Elysees, Cithea, Cabaret du Theatre du Rond Point, Cafe Universel, 7 Lezards) and Festivals Enghien-les-Bains, Onze Bouge, Jazz Pourpre… "a new world" in 2001 with Pierre Fayolle, Olivier Migniot, Remy Bioules and David Eleouet. We played at Montreux Jazz Festival Off (Switzerland), Collioure, Rochefort du Gard, Sunside. And "Let's find peace" in 2000 with Christophe Dal Sasso, Jean-Christophe Beney, Michel Zenino and Bruno Ziarelli.
I recorded in 2005 the album "Blue thoughts" of the singer Louisa Bey (2006 at Cristal Records) with Olivier Louvel, Jean-Daniel Botta, Laurent Series, Xavier Desandre-Navarre and Nico Morelli. We perform a lot together in Tanger Jazz Festival (Maroco), Vienna Jazz Festival Off, Sunside, 7 Lezards (Paris). I often performs with the singer Deborah Benasouli, (Crest Jazz Vocal, Jazz and Klezmer Festival, Sunside, Petit Journal Montparnasse). I performs in duo with the singer Mila Lumbroso. I worked and performed on the creation of the drama "Novecento, legend of the pianist on the ocean" with Brice Notin (monologue with a comedian and a pianist). We played it at The International Avignon Theater Festival, and others nationals theater in France and Switzerland.
I was, for two years, pianist of the Sorbonne Jazz Ensemble conducted by Laurent Cugny.
