About me? Well, music tickles my ears since 24 years now, as my father is a musician and used to play LP's, audioK7's or cd's, or rehearse and practice at home. Despite of it, I started first with dance (ballet) at 5 and it became my goal around 14. Intensive training, auditions, led me to the Royal Ballet of Flanders (Antwerp) in 2001 where I worked as a professional ballet dancer for 3 years. Life being what it is, an endless source of energies and ideas, ideals and desires, dreams, my boat changed direction 3 years ago and I started studying music, first in the Lemmens Institute with Natascha Roth, then in Brussels with David Linx and I've now the chance to spend one year in Paris in the CNSMDP!
Under water, inside, and for "tous les chemins mènent à Rome", my boat keeps gliding toward the same place, in the same spirit : Loving life and people, the thrill of it, feeling the vibrations of music and people and trying to make the best of what has been given to me. Have a nice trip!
21/02/09: the last track added is an impro we played with Moritz Sembritzki at a concert-presentation of a masterclass with Evan Parker at the CNSM in Paris. The words that came to me at that moment are some of the beautiful song by David Linx "Now go and fly". Hope you'll like it.
