this story begins in the mists of a remote past, bla bla bla, thats right...it all boiles down to two people. Me and Bude. I got to know him at college, he asked me to teach him guitar, i refused and he introduced me to the pixies. Then i didnt teach him guitar anymore. we simply started a band. It must have been aroun 1996 or 97, accordingly, he should confirm that anyway. we started off as a cover band of pixies wire and such , playing at end of term's parties. at first we didnt know how to name the project, and at the first gig at "itis of borgomanero" we decided for clockworkorange. the person who printed the fliers for the concert cut it down to orange. thats how we call since. around 98 we moved to our own songs. as we left the college we recorded our first album, the we fired the rest of the band and moved on as a duo. we recorded more songs and a new album came up.fax joined the band on the bass. In the meanwhile me and bude had a side project with the orange b-sides which we used to call pomodors. then I left for Utrecht and Fax took over, orange released an third album and then ceased to exist. that must have beenaround 2003 or 2004. fax and bude started the dead brain moleculas. now 2006 dead brain moleculas are also not playing anymore, bude has moved to dublin and I discovered the friendly use myspace. so I dig some shit out of the graveyard and display for you to enjoy it. long live to long dead college bands!.. width="425" height="350" ..
