About Me


Welcome to the MySpace page for the movie PURGATORY HOUSE . My name is Cindy, and I'm the director and producer. Purgatory House is a movie about teen suicide drug abuse and that was written by a 14-year-old girl I mentored in the Big Sisters program. The script was amazing, and represented a point-of-view that is rarely heard, and I knew other people would relate to the story. And so a cast and crew came together... and voila! We made a movie! I am very excited to announce that we got DVD distribution! Look for PH in stores (including Blockbuster) NOW!!! Woo Hoo! I hope this movie will touch your life in a special way.
Here's a little part of our Behind the Scenes featuring Johnny Pacar (from "Flight 29 Down" and "Now You See It") talking about his role as Sam in "Purgatory House".
And this a music video that singer/songwriter Larisa Stow made for one of the songs in our movie! It's also an extra on our DVD.
I hope this movie will inspire young people and filmmakers. If you dream it, you CAN make it happen. Feel free to drop me a message if you have a question about movie making, or just want to say hi. Please be patient if it takes a little while for a reply as I travel quite a bit.
