I am interested in religions, all types. I like to study and understand what keeps their believers believing. I have my own unique set of beliefs systems which encompasses a variety of different religions. I also take an interest in politics, although a small interest. I am interested in people and what makes them unique. And animals, I think we can learn so much from them if we are patient and willing to listen with the heart. I'm interested in my children and what they are interested in. And I take an interest in hollistic approaches to healing, body, mind and soul. I am currently taking some writing classes, so that's a pretty important interest at the moment.

Music is very important to me. I enjoy a variety of diverse types of music...I'm not thrilled with Opera, clasical or rap, although there are a few rap songs I like. Mostly I listen to music for the message it brings me, if I can't understand the words or there are no words then I find it hard to listen to it. Sometimes I'm looking for something that will lift my spirits, sometimes I'm looking for something that will calm me down, and sometimes I'm sad and want some compassion and understanding for how I feel. Music does it all for me, it's my therapy, my friend and my confidant. It finds me wherever I am and heals me, speaks to me and teaches me.
I have a great collection of movies. I don't like to go to the movie's I prefer to watch at home. It's my fantasy life to get lost in when I need to escape. Like music, I choose what I watch for different reasons. My two favorite actors are James Dean and Marilyn Monroe. Brad Pitt reminds me a lot of James Dean, they have a lot of the same facial expressions...James Dean was very animated in his facial expressions, I like that. I think I'm the only person who reminds me of Marilyn Monroe...not in looks but in personality. Maybe we are soul sisters or kindred spirits of some kind???

I watch little to no TV. Although there are a few series that I like, I buy the series when they come out and watch whenever I want, with no comercials and I don't have to wait a week to find out what happens next if I don't want to. My favorite TV series are, Bones, House and Charmed.
I love to read anything. I used to only read educational or self help books when I was younger, I thought it was a waste of time to read for pleasure...now that I'm older I don't worry so much about waste as much as pleasure. It seems more important now to enjoy my life. My favorite authors are Dan Brown, Stephen King, James Patterson, Daniel Steele, Jackie Collins and John Sanderson.
My heroes are the people I admire the most. First on the list are my children. Next would be those who work in the military or law enforcement.
