I love fantasy and medieval. My favorite holiday is Halloween - yes...I do dress up every year! That's the best part!! My favorite style is shabby chic/victorian. My favorite food is Italian (no meat!) My ideal place to live is to have a house on the ocean. I love animals, all kinds, but whales just amaze me. I have yet to see one...but I will, someday! I am romantic, affectionate, loving, caring, giving. I cherish my family and friends.

I love movies that make me cry, there's nothing like a good cry to let out your frustrations. I also enjoy documentaries, drama, comedy, action/adventure...And of course anything under the New Age category...Davinci Code, The Celestine Prophecy, What the Bleep do we Know. My favorite thriller is Silence of the Lambs and Hannibal. A few of my other favs are The Lake House, Pay it Forward, Frida Khalo, Beaches, Titanic, anything romantic...I still have hope :-) My fav actors/actresses are Brad Pitt, Harrison Ford, Julia Roberts

MUST READ: One night a man had a dream. He dreamed he was walking across the beach with the Lord. Across the sky flashed scenes from his life. For each scene he noticed two sets of footprints in the sand, one belonging to him, and the other to the Lord. When the last scene of his life flashed before him, he looked back at the footprints in the sand. He noticed that many times along the path of his life there was only one set of footprints. he also noticed that it happened at the very lowest and saddest times in his life. This really bothered him and he questioned the Lord about it. "Lord, You said that once I decided to follow You, You'd walk with me all the way. But I have noticed that during the most troublesome times in my life, there is only one set of footprints. I don't understand why, when I needed You the most You would leave me." The Lord replied, "My son, my precious child, I love you and would never leave you. During your times of trial and suffering, when you see only one set of footprints, it was then that I carried you.

The International Whaling Commission meets in Anchorage this month, and the fate of whales around the world hangs in the balance.

By the time the ban on commercial whaling went into effect in 1986, the great whales had been hunted to the brink of extinction. Some (but not all) whale populations have now begun to recover.
By abusing a loophole in the whaling ban that allows killing for ?scientific research,? japan slaughters hundreds of whales every year with exploding harpoons, mostly in the Southern Ocean Whale Sanctuary! This year, Japan?s Fisheries Agency plans to start killing endangered humpback whales, too.
Do Something About It!
With ocean ecosystems on the verge of collapse due to industrial overfishing, pollution, and ocean acidification from CO2 pollution, now more than ever is the wrong time for a return to industrial whaling. But that?s what the Japanese IWC delegation wants. After years of vote-buying, the Japanese government now has a foot in the door to legalize commercial whaling.
Please take a moment to click off a letter to principal governments involved in the looming whaling debate. Your action could stop commercial whaling from rearing its ugly head in the 21st century.
