About Me

Raised in 1996 in the Turin area (North Western Italy), Mirsie has immediately grown up with a smashing musical progress. Writing a bunch of songs that goes straight to brains and stomaches, Mirsie knows how to calibrate and mould the hot taste of hyper distorted blues with a genuine indie attitude.
The results of this long and constant musical experience, was gathered in Mirsies debut album "Aliens in a Bra" (2001), published by Freakshow Records/WhitenBlack, that has been distributed across a large part of Europe and has been acclaimed by the whole specialized press. Particularly, Kerrang! and Rocksound Uk reviews claim the international appeal of the band which, during the years, has toured across France, Germany, Switzerland, Holand and Slovenia. A feature quite unusual in an italian group devoted to rocknroll.
Lets get to "El Santo", just the next step of Mirsie's story. A further sound personalization is evident since the first themes: its a sound that, after stepping over the wilderness and row approach of the early songs, seems to push harmony into an irreverent and funny attitude. You can easily find it both in the nonsense rhyme of "Boots" and in the weird march of "Happy Ending Love", a peculiar tribute to the old garage heroes Standells, remixed in the summer 2005 by the italians global vibe heroes Feel Good Productions, and included in their full leinght album "This is The Sound" out worlwide in 2006 for Edel.
In march 2006 the band started a free download campaign for "El Santo" that, in a few months, reached the goal of over 4000 shared copies.
