About Me

Jaime’s career in music began first as a vocalist, then in his audio studio as a creative musician, working for publicity agencies and in July 2006 as a producer and director with “Cholo Soy Peruvian Waltz Chillout”, peruvian music with a different sound. It was risky but his faith was grader than his doubts. His second cd. “Cholo Soy 2- La Valse Créole Chillout” hits the market in July 2007. Both productions has won awards, golden and platinium records in a very short time. Many people has been asking, if it will be “a third Cholo”, but he had other projects in mind but finally I persuade him that “the Cholos” should be a trilogy and we are working on that, for 2009. Jaime has others productions, like “Cholo Soy-Remixed”, “Cholo Soy for Babies” and soon, “Cholo Soy 2-Remixed” .Jaime´s ´´DJ SESSION Show ´´was realased in Creamfileds Lima 2007 ,mixing his own remixes of his 2 productions.This 2008 Dj Jaime Cuadra start a world tour with this multimedia ,lights ,efects and guest live performance.His most recent production “Chill 80’s” (Dec 07’) rock in spanish in a lounge-jazz version, which is a different chillout. Wining the “IMA Awards 2007” for Fusion Music, with his first cd, was surprising for him but also made him very happy, this is an award for independent musicians with the participation of people from all over the world. We want to extend our thanks to all the people to supported us and shared our dream. Sounds Like: La vida artística de Jaime comienza como solista, luego empezó desde muy joven a trabajar en su estudio de audio como músico-creativo trabajando para las agencias de publicidad, como lo és hasta ahora. A partir de Julio del 2006, definitivamente es la etapa mas sorpresiva de todas, en ese año sale a la luz su primer disco como músico y productor “Cholo Soy Peruvian Waltz Chillout”, haciendo música peruana de la costa en géneros diversos, fue un riesgo pero a la vez su fé, llegó a ser más grande que sus dudas. Su segunda producción, “Cholo Soy 2-La Valse Créole, salió exactamente al año, en Julio 2007. Ambos trabajos, han obtenido los Discos de Oro y Platino, respectivamente y en muy poco tiempo. Mucha gente ha preguntado y sigue preguntando, si habrá “un tercer Cholo”, al principio Jaime estuvo un poco reacio con la idea, por tener varios proyectos en mente; pero terminé convenciéndolo, de que “los Cholos” deberían de ser una trilogía; así estamos en plena pre-producción donde las nuevas ideas se verán reflejadas en un producto muy especial, por ser el disco-cierre de esta etapa. También hizo producciones paralelas, solicitadas por su disquera Play Music, como lo son: “Cholo Soy Remixed”, y “Cholo Soy for Babies”, y pronto saldrá a la venta “Cholo Soy 2 - Remixed”. Acaba de salir su más reciente producción “Chill 80’s” de Rock en Español, en versión lounge-jazz, lo que lo hace un disco chillout diferente. Ganar con el primer lugar el “IMA Awards 2007”, (Independent Music Award) con su primer disco, en la categoría de Fusion Music, es una nominación muy importante que lo ha sorprendido y alegrado muchísimo, porque intervienen músicos de todo el mundo.
