ELEMENT EDEN ADVOCATE TIFFANY BOZIC COVER AND FEATURE OF NEW COLOR MAGAZINE
The art of Element Eden Advocate Tiffany Bozic is the main feature of the new Color Magazine. Bozic has both the cover of the issue as well as a full interview complete with her recent works. The works come from the recent show at SF's Cal Academy entitled "From the Depths: Inspiring Science and Art." The show has a very unique premise which you can get the brief on at the Color site (see http://www.colormagazine.ca/view.php?issue=6.1&feature=b ozic), but pick up the issue for the whole story and beautifully illustrated images always printed on Color's quality paper.

BEACHWORKS ELEMENT NIGHT

We were lucky to have about 50 beautiful Beachworks employees come by the Element headquarters this past week! Founder and President Johnny Schillereff took them on a tour and gave them the gritty details of how and where the brand started, as well filled everyone in on the current Element social and environmental initiatives. The Beachworks crew also got to quiz Element Eden designers about the line, the creative process and what Beachworks will be carrying from the upcoming Summer Element Eden collection. We held a raffle and two lucky winners took home a skate clutch made by Element Eden Advocate Beck Hickey!
Meet the Beachworks crew yourself and visit them at one of their SoCal locations! A huge thank you goes out to all of the staff who came from far and wide to be a part of this special evening.

This past weekend the 'Human Resource' art show opened in Costa Mesa, CA. ART AND MUSIC THIS WEEKEND

We're planning a few fun-filled nights for you this weekend! On Friday, don't miss Mataji Booker performing her acoustic songs live at The Derby in Los Feliz, California. If you haven't seen her play, this is just one of her many impressive talents and not to be missed. Then Saturday, check out the opening of the Human Resource show at the Artery in the Costa Mesa Lab. You'll find works by many of the talented Element staffers, including Element Eden designer Filipa Da Silva and graphics genius Aaron Martinez. The reception runs from 7pm-10pm.

PAINT-A-DECK-GET-A-DECK

Elemental Awareness held the 5th annual Paint-A-Deck-Get-A-Deck event in South Central Los Angeles this past week at the Salvation Army Community Center. Element family including artists Todd Francis, Brooke Reidt and Mike Kershnar along with team riders Chad tim Tim and Tosh Townend were on hand to pass out blank decks that kids then painted on. The kids completed their works with the help of the Element folks and then had a great board that they could ride, give for a holiday gift, or hang on their wall. Some of the best efforts were also rewarded with boards, hats and more. Elemental Awareness thanks PSStix for donating the blanks, all the Element family that came out, and PJ & Andre at the community center for making this another great event.
