Clin AKA Steve Barker is quickly emerging new star to the East of England Electro/Breaks scene, bringing in a fresh crisp sound which is making an huge impression and wiping up the crowds.
As time has passed Clin’s hunger to be at the forefront of digital music technology has greatly increased with his sets incorporating Ableton Live and selection of juicy synths and gismos that make a standard booth look stone age. With a fine selection of dirty tech driven full fat breaks with quality effects and the introduction of loops and live elements Clin’s sets can rock any dance floors.
With the breaks taking Norwich by storm and Clin’s succession of electrifying mix cd's and guest appearances it was only a matter of time before he was made breakbeat resident for Elev-8. Clin’s progress in 2007 is set to rocket with sets confirmed alongside AWE-Soundsystem and guest slots for Stuff and the Kitchen Event as well as returning to the studio to work on some sick productions for our listening pleasure.
