About Me

currently showing...
once upon a time there were two girls who loved to have tea and talk about art, look at art and plan how someday they would have a gallery that would show art they love.
on december 9th, crybaby gallery was born. a beautiful 2000 square foot loft in asbury park, new jersey. the gallery houses the brightest arising artists from all over the country and a few from our very own backyard.
our goal at crybaby gallery is to make sure as asbury park grows, the artistic community grows with it. we want to share artists we love and believe in with everyone who walks into our doors. the gallery will have new shows every four to six weeks with different artists. they will be from a variety of backgrounds, work in different mediums and be noteworthy for each of their unique styles. our biggest mission for the gallery is to be known for showing artwork that HAS yet to become mainstream, yet still deserve showing. we want to ensure that the artists and their art have a home here in asbury park instead of being reserved for bigger cities like los angeles and new york city.
call it what you will, a selfish need, a quest, OUR dream to live in a city we love that has art we want to be surrounded by: we call it our goal and it comes alive with crybaby gallery.
come visit us @ 706 cookman avenue asbury park nj 07712 phone is 732.807.3504 and if u have time, check out our website, www.crybabygallery.com (its perfection in progress).
SPRING HOURS: thursday, friday and saturday 12 pm to 6 pm, sunday 12 pm to 4 pm. note: 1st saturday of the month, we will be open till 10 pm.
