I am a lawyer in the UK. I am a big Beatles fan - of course!
I am also interested in politics and my blog concentrates on political issues especially in realtion to faith. I am a Christian whose views incline towards the left. I believe that the four keys issues for Christians in the 21st Century are
Human Rights,
Poverty,
Peace
and The Environment. I do however believe that political discussion should aim for consensus based on humility. for more see my daily blog!
As A lawyer I mainly represent members of Trade Unions who have suffered illnesses at work - including asbestos and stress.
I am a big fan of Everton Football Club who I have followed for over 40 years.
I also love reading. I like modern novels and political biographies.
But I also love the Brontes! My favourite fiction is Villette and Le Petit Prince. My favourite non fiction is the Benn Diaries alongside God's Politics by Jim Wallis.
I am a reader in my local Church.
