The objective and aim of this media initiative is to assist the greater South African creative community who are mostly involved in the arts to effectively prepare and package themselves for exposure via what is called the "new media"."New media" includes mainly the internet which has now come to embrace video-on-demand, interactive social networking, streaming broadcast and publishing in all the respective forms.
It is now possible to effectively reach the world from your home desktop. There is only one obstacle - the affordability of processing technology to emergent artists, and the ability to effectively network their profiles to achieve maximum integrated exposure. In short; to profile themselves effectively to achieve the highest possible visual and interactive media impact with prospective audiences - and to sustain this!
Because the cost of "processing" technology is so much higher in South Africa compared with other Western countries where it is freely available, this initiative offers certain services directly to the creative artistic, music, acting and modeling community at reduced, affordable and highly negotiable rates. Strategic partnerships with certain production companies and creative individuals which have extensive in-house production abilities and talents, allow us to process and package for the internet both existing media such as video clips, music tracks etc and to produce new state-of-the-art videos (including animation) and record/produce/arrange/master music tracks for emergent and existing successful musicians/ bands/artists who wish to bring their product up to an international standard.
With an extensive and well established collective experience in web site construction and internet networking expertise, we are able to integrate all the above to achieve maximum possible exposure via the medium of electronic media.
This initiative in essence has been established by members of the creative community, to provide and maintain an effective processing "back end" and integrated support service mainly to independent operators within the artistic community who need to achieve success by exploiting the phenomenon of "viral" marketing on the internet. Solutions are offered and profiles are packaged using all available media services.
Model, Actor, Musician & Artist PROFILED! - South Africa, as its primary objective offers a portal to all South African performers and artists to introduce their creative talents to each other, and to effectively interconnect and discover new audiences both in South Africa and internationally. We will begin in early 2007 with the profiling of a selected outstanding SA artist and will continue to do this on a monthly basis.
