The memorizer, memorized five decks of cards in order and in 20min. Dude could name every card by deck number and by order. All cause he took a walk everyday down the same circut and used symbols he learned to associate with the cards.The commentator of the program suggests that memory is like stacked dominos (synapses), so the mind remembers facts or factors better with a story. With those tools he visuallize a trip with him walking down the path while pretending to see dogs sawing pineapples and stuff. The fireman intuited a Backdraft and saved his crew cause he unconciously saw orange smoke, the movement of the air, and the absence of a crackeling sound of the fire. Just think you might have been interested cause it is tied into psychology and its cool.
