I was Born in 1962 in Santo André, São Paulo, Brazil. I could barely walk when destiny took me for a long trip to New Jersey, USA. So long that it lasted for over a decade! I was able to “breathe and feel” the american culture and way of life. I remind “School’s Out” with Alice Cooper. It was a blast for kids at those times!
In 1975 changes came up again with my definite trip back to Brazil. Having studied the Mel Bay method in the US since the age of seven was pretty helpful for me. I was able to assume further study on Classical music, harmony, arrangement and improvisation with Jarbas Jr, Felipe Ávila and top notch Master Claudio Leal, and of course, the good and old Rock’n’Roll all night!!
In the 90’s I got in touch with culture that put everything together. The Blues! It taught me how to really “feel” the music! I recorded two CDs with my band named Irmandade do Blues . "Veneno" (1996) and "Good Feelings" (2006) were released by Gravadora Eldorado. Although I’ve been adventuring through several kinds of music, this band could be considered the basement of the whole thing. Pure Bluesrock with brazilian spice!
