I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

I'm I-don't-know-what on the outside, but every bit the brooding Finlander on the inside. Well, I'm not *from* Finland, but I'm 50% pure, introspective, prone-to-depression Finnish blood. The other half is Scottish, and I don’t even know what that means! Wrap that up in a Canadian girl, who was raised in New Zealand in her formative years, and then thrust deeply into the alternative underpinnings of Edmonton in her teens, later to be thrown clueless, into rural Alberta in her 20's, and you get someone with some interesting cultural identity issues.

My Interests

I like reading, writing poetry and lyrics, teaching, running, lifting weights, playing guitar, singing, acting, music, movies, crocheting, sewing and sushi.

I'd like to meet:

Who the hell am I you say? I'm someone who liked your profile... that's it. You looked interesting. Congratulations! Maybe we can exchange a few messages here and there and bask in each other's glory. :-)

Say hello to my little friend:

Pumpkin!

There is a pumpkin plant growing in my livingroom- wrapping its preternatural tendrils around the cord to my blinds and ascending to heaven.  I am awestruck watching as, over the course of an hou...
