Thank you for visiting our site. Blue Empress Management, Intl proudly represents Fiona Boyes from Melbourne, Australia. Fiona is the 2003 winner of the International Blues Challenge and a 2007 nominee for "The Best Contemporary Blues Album of the Year" by the Blues Foundation of America. We also represent Richard Carr from Montreal, Canada . Richard is the 2006 LYS Blues Award winner. We have offices in Melbourne, Australia and Atlanta,GA and Panama City Beach, Fl. Most people are familiar with the expression, "Its the music that matters". While we agree, the people at Blue Empress Management, Intl choose to take it a step further and base our mission in the belief that "Its the music and the MUSICIANS that matter". Our artists become like family and get the personal attention they so deeply deserve. We would like to thank all the people in this industry for keeping Blues Music alive. Our thanks to the local clubs that are the lifeline for musicians and to the Blues radio programmers ,especially to our good friends at WRFG in Atlanta. Thank you to the Booking Agencies and the Festival promoters worldwide, to the record labels and to the distributors who bring it all to us, to the internet blues shows like ABS Bluescast in Atlanta and to all the blues podcasters worldwide. Our gratitude to the blues publications and reviewers, to our Blues Societies worldwide who work tirelessly to preserve the cultural and musical heritage of the Blues and provide challenges that provide new artists a way to be heard, by sending new blues talent annually to the International Blues Challenge in Memphis.Thank you to all those involved in educational programs promoting the blues in the schools and workshops. Our thanks to the Blues Foundation of America, and most importantly to YOU the music lovers for keeping the Blues alive and well !
