I am a California native transplanted to New York City. I went to School at Sonoma State U. and Cal Arts. I play double bass and work as a freelance in many different areas of music but mainly Jazz in NYC and also on the West Coast. I have had the great pleasure to tour and work with Lee Konitz, Billy Higgins, Donald Byrd, Michael Cain, Jason Moran, Jeff Ballard, Tony Sher, Kenny Wollesen, Chris Cheek, George Garzone, Frank Kimbrough, Waddada Leo Smith, Buddy Collett, Carl Allen, Mike Clark, Bruce Forman, Arturo O'farell, Will Bernard, Josh Jones, Benny Lackner, Adam Theis, John Popper (Blues Traveler), Slide Hampton, Barney Mcall, Donny Mclaslin, Marco Eniedi, Dred Scott, Matt Otto, Eric Mcphearson, Allison Miller, George Schuller and also Stephen Perkins of Janes Addiction. In the fall of 2007 I helped to score a play for Labyrinth Theater Company with Co-artistic Directors :John Ortiz and Phillip Seymore Hoffman. The play, "A View From 151st street" written by Bob Glaudini premiered at the New York City Public Theater and a successful 38 show run. I am now focusing my upcoming album with the Broolykn Jazz Underground Artist Collective label with my close friends - Benny Lackner, Mark Ferber and Will Benard.
I love to play golf on my off time, workout, hang at the beach, play chess, drink beers and cook. I miss Northern California like hell but what can ya do..I am in NYC.
