, called : Music, The Connection To Life ! , together with his dear musical friends Mayumi Motohashi (Japan), Thiago Osorio (Brasil), Vincent Lora-Tonet (France) and others .
In august 2006, Ger started working, recording and performing with his Australian/ Dutch cousin, Singer/ Songwriter Peggy van Zalm, who stayed in the Netherlands till januari 2007. As a finale to this period they performed a Newyearsconcert at Kliff12-Texel. with as guests the famous dutch musicians Henk de Kat (accordeon) and Roy Cruz (fretless bass), which will be released on DVD together with a CD from the studio-recordings made at the Luny Control - Texel, with as very special guest Matt Barnhoorn (violin, mandolin) of the legendary Magna Carta, late 2007...?????
After co-organising a memorial for his dear rasta-brother Jackman in Den Helder, with family and dear friends from everywhere, like Thiago Osorio (Brasil) & Vincent Lora-Tonet (France)......it was time for something completely different ! In July 2007 Ger re-activates his collaboration (remember The Water-Suite ?) with the amazing and wonderful Frank Köllges.
They make recordings together, resulting in the cd " The best of the Usch-sessions 2007 " (listen to the 2 track's on this page !), he plays with Frank's orchestra Adam Noidlt Missiles and is guest of Frank Köllges Brotmaschine on the Offside Open 1.
