The Bricklane Boogie Boys

Londons Premier Hillbilly Rockers

About Me

The BLBB were formed in the summer of 1998, after an impromptu session between Big John Carter and Charlie Wilson. Soon after they brought in Micky Carrol on electric guitar, and Eddie Edwards on double bass, to complete the ensemble. This incarnation of the group lasted for two and a half years before disbanding.

In 2003 Charlie and John decided to reform the group with the current line-up. In 2004 the BLBB were invited on a tour of the UK with Bill Haley's original Comets, playing mainly theatres. Since then the group has been performing regularly in and around London and England, Playing many festivals and theatres, including The Hackney Empire, Wiltons Music Hall, The Americana Festival, Walthamstow Festival, The Rock'n'Roll Cinema, Wildest Cats in Town weekender, The Rhythm Riot, The Goodwood Motor Racing weekender, Bricklane Festival and many other Festivals and shows way to numerous to mention,. The boys are no strangers to live Radio, having played five sessions for the BBC and numerous co-op and independent radio stations. And we're still going stong! msprm name="movie" value="http://i212.photobucket.com/player.swf?file=http://vi d212.photobucket.com/albums/cc31/c-w_st
