SLADE CURTIS & THE DEAD MAN FROM RENO BAND

About Me

Slade Curtis has been involved with music most of his life. He has played in several bands and has shared concert and festival stages with bands like MxPx, Third Day, P.O.D., Bill Mallonee, and Sixpence None the Richer. With his newest band/ musical project (Slade Curtis & The Dead Man From Reno Band), Slade has created music based on the country and rockabilly sounds that he was raised on as a child. Though this is not a Johnny Cash tribute band, Johnny Cash is definitely the main inspiration for the project. Slade describes his sound as, "a little bit of Elvis - a little bit of Hank - and a whole lot of Cash !!" The Dead Man From Reno Band is made up of friends/ musicians/ outlaws & renegades such as Kip Bell and Phil Fincher. Slade Curtis and The Dead Man From Reno Band's 5 song EP entittled, " The Kennesaw Sessions " was recorded for So Much Music Records in '07. This EP is now available to purchase on iTunes and AmazonMp3. Also, you can order the CD by mail. Contact Slade through this site for details. Slade Curtis and The Dead Man Reno Band is currently back in the studio working on their first full length album. Slade would like to let all of his friends out there know how much he truely appreciates them for their kind words and support.
