GOALS FOOTBALL GOT A BIG FUCKING PUDDLE...

About Me

This is an anti-propaganda myspace, its is aimed at commbatting recent trends in the beautiful game that are bastardizing the most beautiful aspects of it. Football is becoming a money making tool for rich twats my central focus here is the UK giants GoalsFootball.co.uk who are priceing the people out of leagues and making the cost of playing in a league riduculously expenise that the standard of the leagues are dropping teams pull out the the head office and the shareholders make a tonne of cash. Here's what they do: They WHACK THE PRICE OF THE BAR UP EVERY JANUARY then HAMMER THE PRICE OF THE LEAGUE GAMES UP EVERY SEPTEMBER just in time for the students to come back. Lock you into a league just when its getting fucking cold. Simplicity itself, charge you more to pay some rich twats salary & watch them expand the operations...
They also have crap maintence (the showers /bogs stink) and they totally failed to sort of a huge water leak that created a fjord right in the middle of the give way sign outside their entrance - it sat there for 3 months if we remember...
In September 2005 I collected 120 signitures against the 2nd price rise in a year, this year & from now on I'm doing it online. The standard of football is dropping, the majority of cars in the car park are expensive, the best players can't afford to play & yet the share price has doubled again - 10 more sites planned nationwide. No services have improved. Goals are taking the piss. We proably need to boycott to get this message across as money seems to be the only things these cunts undertsand. Go online & sign the petition against the latest price raise:

or see their own corporate filth online at:

There are other targets who are making football expensie to watch or expensive to play I think this is totally idiotic, as in my view football is the cure for the population - great for fitness for making friends building teamwork and keeping fit - it is the best game on the planet we should all be playing each other keeping active etc. I will elaborate...
Darlo Tunes on the Site: Thommo's Irration Worms
Feethams & Darlo. My beloved football club nearly got destroyed a year or so back; our old stadium got bastardized by an idiot and his cronnies - so we could move to our 25,000 all seater stadium (with our 5,000- fans - maths never a strong point!) George is out of jail now. The least of his crimes - he killed some worms that were supposed to save our old pitch. Now we have our own 'mini Sunderland experience' except we don't have the fans to fill it. I can't really see how we can become finaicially viable until we start to get near filling the stadium, but even per se when we had an influx of fans on our first game there we could not process them in time - those 2 people running the ticket sales counters and the 'x' no of people who just rip & tear the stubbs it just don't seem enough! Imagine 7,000 angry fans queuing in one massive queue all the way to the A66. Grand designs, and computerised data on who exactly is sitting where, but oh so little thought on day to day running...
George never really seemed to understand the vaule of Feethams and now it is gone, probably whack a load of expensive houses on it so they can pack a few more middle classes in Darlo (it's near the new Asda!) There is an influx of expensive new houses & a yuppie culture gripping darlo. Erase the past & the heritage then whack the prices up, & we all love paying more...
Montage – The Ghosts of Christmas Past – Former chairman George Reynolds, Former ground – Feethams, Former Manager – David Hodgson, The old Quaker Centre 5-a-side hall burned down, Former groundskeeper – Thommo, the TinShed & Supporters Club massive, Gazza?, The Clubs wage bill published in the Nortrhern Echo, Tino Asprilla? and the souls of 16 dead worms - almost enough for a game of sensible soccer! Rest in Peace Feethams....
lessons: When few people are deciding what's right for the masses, they often get it wrong, esspecially when they are outsiders and don't care for or understand the significance of the history. And take care of the fans. Obviously. Like a bad company takeover, your gonna get the sack and operations are going to get less slick - the consequences can be reprehensible and very hard to repair, and painful too when the whole thing is so public. Looking after after football at the lower levels makes great sense because what can take hundereds of years to cultivate, build and make viable can be torn down very quickly when we do not stick up for what is sensible, logical & essetnially just cheap & feels good - like the Quaker Centre used to be £2 a game or less on Saturday mornings. Then Feethams or an away game. Happy times. This is how and local football should be, a few quid, nothing too flash & a damn good laugh, encorage people to get involved, stay involved & to play. Not to over complicate, otherwise we will be less paying more money for less character for years to come...

Too Many Houses on Abbey Field - a New tune from the DIRTY PIRATES, fourthcoming album:Abbey Field- its an anti-yuppie-culture rock/punk ride. A Ghost Story of all the good times at Darlo. For Darlo going to Wembley in 1996. For a communal place to meet, talk watch, and play football. We get re-badged, owned by Queens Elizabeth, and in the rush to sell, things are made expensive. Rich people expecting the premier league, almost there…But remember you're still living in Darlo!
So keep playing football on Abbey Field or on the green because the more places there are to play for free the less likely kids are to go out getting wasted on corners or venting their frustration in street fights. Where are the new Sean Gregan & Robbie Blake's going to come from if there's no where to play? Sunderland? More York rejects? Homegrown talent must get a chance to develop - being encouraged to play with your friends on a FREE space allows that 'Free learning time' that is crucial to becoming a better player, to try new things. I imagine a ghost on Abbey Field forever playing the beautiful game, forever wanting to go to Wembley...
For Feethams, and for LEe Walker, we miss you. X Dirty Pirates

& of course: Goalsfootball.co.uk bunch of twats who are pricing people out of 5-a-side leagues, the financial director is a liar and an idiot.

Influences: Trying to make known to people and help people to organise to comabt them which otherwise, unchecked will continue and we will be taken for fools and have to pay more money for a commodity that should be encouraged ruthlessless from a young age.
Sounds Like: A Brief History of Goals Skyrocketing price policy:
sep 2003 £30.00 per game. Jan 2005 Goals float on the stock exchange: Jan 2005 price rise £33.00 per game, sep 2005 £34.95 per game
Goals Share Price 2006:
sep 2006 price is raised to £36.75 per game Goals profits soar, 5 new sites built nationwide. 'A typical Goals centre has a capital cost of around £1.85 million and a build time of approximately 5 months' - (corporate website data). & 15 more are currently planned for opening in the next three years, they're throwing them up like maccy d's...

Goals share price has more than doubled since they first floated. We will continually be made to pay for this head office expansion whilst no-one performs routine maintainence on the existing sites. They stink, and they're making rich twats richer. Sign the bellow petition if you disagree with Goalsfootball.co.uk's obtuse profiteering...
